Description: In this video, we'll show you how to use Fusion 360 to prepare your model for Fused Filament Fabrication 3d printing! We'll cover selecting an FFF printer, selecting and editing print settings, part position, support generation, and finally, slicing and creating the print file. In most slicers, the support structure is generated on slicing, and the user has little control on the placement and structure itself. Fusion 360’s workflow but offers users more freedom in both support placement and support structure. The 2 new available support structures for FFF are; Solid Volume & Solid Bar support. Solid volume support is best for supporting large overhanging areas, whereas solid bar support is ideal for bodies with small specific overhanging areas. The print settings have been divided up between ‘General’ and ‘body preset’. ‘General’ print settings contain settings that apply to all bodies on the print bed, whereas Body preset print-settings contain settings than can be applied per body, meaning different bodies can have different body presets. The default body presets for each print setting are “Normal” and “Strong”. The video shows 2 headphone stands being fully supported using Solid Volume support and then printed with the Normal and Strong body presets. ►FREE TRIAL | autode.sk/31Sxeef ►SUBSCRIBE | autode.sk/30njGGX ►GET STARTED | autode.sk/30k2DWh CONNECT with Fusion 360 on social media: INSTAGRAM | autode.sk/2Enzh8P FACEBOOK | autode.sk/19jII5A TWITTER | autode.sk/19jIJXc LISTEN to the Fusion 360 podcast "The New Possible": BLOG | autode.sk/3qbFsFS SPOTIFY | autode.sk/3txPz9O APPLE | autode.sk/36LwBTE GOOGLE | autode.sk/2YQccbC
